How to Enroll

General enrollment for the school year 2026-27 is open.  Consult tuition here.

Please read carefully the process below.

Existing families will have priority placement until May 15th, after that, it will become first come first serve.

Once you have reviewed our classes options for next year, start your enrollment. Please fill one form per child.

For all new FLAM (French-speaking) students, we require a pre-evaluation.  Our goal is to evaluate the students’ French proficiency and place them in the best group. Pre-evaluation for Maternelles will be on May 16 or 31st (group). For older students, it will be online (individual).

If our educational team believes that our program is not the right fit and can not recommend an adequate placement, we will inform you and discuss options.
If no adequate solution is found for the student, the enrollment process is terminated, and you will receive a refund of the  deposit (minus a $50 administrative assessment fee)

For returning students, placement is based on teachers’ recommendations and progress reports.

2026-2027: Starting May 1st, all students, both new and returning, need to pre-enroll online. The pre-enrollment determines the placement order (first come, first served). Currently enrolled families have a priority placement until May 15th.

A deposit of $400 must be submitted with each application (one per child). This deposit will be directly applied to tuition. We encourage early pre-enrollment with a 100$ discount if pre-enrolled by May 15th, $50 until May 31st reflected directly in the final payment)

Deposit refund:

  • This full deposit is only refundable if EFGS cannot accept your child in our program (student meet the requirement but class is cancelled or full).
  • If our educational team determines that a student’s French skills do not meet the requirements of our program during the assessment, we will refund the deposit minus $50 for administration fees.

Important: Pre-enrollment is complete only when you have paid the deposit and received a confirmation email.

Starting mid-June, we will start confirming the placement of your child by email or BrightWheel and you will be asked to pay either tuition in full or the first installment of tuition (depending on your choice in the pre-enrollment form). You will have 2 weeks (10 business days) to confirm the registration of your student for the placement mentioned above. After these 2 weeks (10 business days) you may still be able to confirm the registration, but we cannot guarantee the placement anymore as the spot may be offered to another student.

Enrollment is complete once tuition/the first installment is paid in full (If you chose to pay in installments, the second installment will be due in August and the third in September).

    • We reserve the right to not open classes if we have less than 5 students enrolled.

    • Once our classes are full, we will put the remaining pre-enrolled students on a waiting list until after the first class as spots can become available or we may be able to open an extra class if there are enough students.
    • If EFGS must cancel your child’s class (due to low enrollment or teacher availability) you will receive a full refund.
    • If a student withdrawn, the admission fee will not be reimbursed (see Enrollment agreement).
