Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference? Éducation Française Greater Seattle (EFGS) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the 2025-26 school year, on Saturday mornings 9:15 to 12:15pm).

We’re currently hiring for the following positions:

  • Teachers: Lead engaging Saturday morning in-person classes for elementary, middle and high school students.

  • Class Assistants: Support our teachers in creating a fun and dynamic learning environment.

  • Part-time Education Program Manager (average 15h/week): This position is hybrid, at home during the week, onsite (Seattle) on Saturdays of classes (8:30am to 1pm). Lead and inspire as our After-School Education program manager while driving EFGS’s educational goals and culture-building initiatives in a dynamic, French-language learning environment!

Education Programs Manager Application

Be part of a team that’s shaping the future of French education in the Pacific Northwest!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and teach the content of the class, following EFGS unique curriculum
  • After the class, communicate homework with parents and students, as well as progress reports as needed during the year
  • Understand bilingualism/bicultural challenges and benefits and is able to adapt teaching techniques appropriately
  • Support and follow the mission, philosophy, policies and rules of EFGS
  • Participate in staff meetings throughout the year and partner with other EFGS Education staff members in a collegial and professional manner to further develop and implement the program and curriculum

CONDITIONS

  • Must be a French native speaker or completely fluent
  • Teaching degree from the Education Nationale or equivalent from the US or another Francophone country and/OR teaching experience to students from 3 to 17.  Experience other than teaching is acceptable is the candidate is thinking about professional reconversion and is willing to get trained.
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid CPR and first aid card or required to obtain within first 30 days of employment (CPR is reimbursed by EFGS)
  • Fingerprints and successful WSP and FBI background clearance/sexual misconduct clearance (will be taken care of by EFGS)​

Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 12:30 am.

Competitive pay.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the teacher(s) in the assigned in-person class(es) on regularly scheduled Saturday mornings from 9:00am to 12:30pm
  • Help with drop-off
  • Supervise during recess
  • Help with class set-up and material organization, and according to the teacher’s lesson plans, support and assist students in learning the class material by tutoring and assisting them in small groups or one-on-one

CONDITIONS

  • Must be a French native speaker or completely fluent
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid CPR and first aid card or required to obtain within first 30 days of employment (CPR is reimbursed by EFGS)

Saturday morning from 8:45am to 12:45am (paid 3.5h or option to do high school volunteer hours)
